Director
As the Director of Oasis Manor, I am responsible for the overall management and operation of the facility. With years of experience in the health, social care, and education sectors, I have a deep understanding of the challenges and rewards of working in this field. I am particularly passionate about providing top-quality care to our residents, and I am committed to ensuring that they receive the support and assistance they need to live fulfilling lives.Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and participating in a variety of personal interests, including hiking, playing tennis, and going to the gym. Maintaining a healthy balance between work and personal life is important to me, and I strive to create a supportive and welcoming environment for our residents and staff at Oasis Manor.I am deeply committed to making a positive impact on the lives of those we serve and to ensuring that Oasis Manor is a place of comfort and care for all.
Nauman Saleem
Operations Manager
As someone with over 5 years of experience in the social care field, I have a strong understanding of the demands and benefits of working in this industry. I initially trained as a support worker, completing my NVQ qualification, and then went on to become a manager. In March 2019, I joined the team at Oasis Manor, and in 2020. I was promoted to manager, overseeing all operational aspects of the business. I was attracted to working for Oasis Manor because of their focus on supporting people with autism and learning disabilities. I am constantly inspired by the people we support and the positive changes that our team is able to help them achieve. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and participating in activities such as playing pool, golf, and reading books. In my free time, I also enjoy staying active and finding ways to maintain a healthy and balanced lifestyle.
Benine Burger
Quality Assurance Manager
At Oasis Manor, we are dedicated to providing high quality, person-centered care to those we serve. As Quality Assurance Manager, I am responsible for ensuring that our Care Plans, Risk Assessments, and all other documents are kept up to date and in line with Local Authority standards. I also visit all of our sites to ensure that the standards of person-centered care are consistently high. We pride ourselves on excellence at Oasis Manor and it is truly rewarding to see the positive impact of our team’s efforts on the people we care for and on the organization as a whole. It is my passion to make sure that every person we work with receives the best possible care and I am committed to continuous improvement and ensuring that our systems, processes, and facilities are always improving.
Aksh Jumeea
Registered Mental Health Nurse
With 14 years of experience in the healthcare sector, I started as a healthcare assistant and worked my way up to the deputy ward manager’s post. I have always been up to date with my career development, pursuing a nursing degree and various training courses. My experience includes working with clients with a variety of mental health conditions such as Schizophrenia, Bipolar disorder, Depression, Personality disorder, Alcohol and Drugs addictions, Asperger’s syndrome, and Learning Disability. I also have experience in working in Child and Adolescent Unit, Assessment and Treatment unit, including within the community, Eating disorders Unit, Medium and low secure unit. In addition, I am a Prevention, Management of Violence and Aggression instructor, conflict management and resolution instructor, and hold a teaching qualification. I have an understanding of both business and client’s needs and am familiar with budgeting and costing when it comes to managing ward budgets. I take pride in myself and my team and always believe in partnership working to meet the patient’s needs and organizational goals. With my experience in CAMHS community team, carrying out ASD/ADHD and neurodevelopmental assessments for children and young adults, and providing therapy and counseling, I am confident in delivering excellent care. My aim now is to help all residents at Oasis Manor, using my experience, skills, and compassion to provide the best possible support.
Wendy Powell
Senior Support Worker
I have over 10 years as a support worker, I work to create a supportive and welcoming environment for all of my residents. As a dedicated and compassionate caregiver, I am committed to ensuring that my residents receive the best possible care and support. I am skilled at understanding the needs of my service users and tailoring my care around my understanding in order to provide high quality, person-centered support. I take the time to get to know each of my residents and their specific needs, preferences, and goals, and use this knowledge to develop personalized care plans that meet their unique needs. I am also empathetic and responsive to the changing needs of my residents, and am able to adjust my care as needed in order to ensure that it remains relevant and effective. By providing person-centered care, I am able to help my residents feel more in control of their own lives and more supported in achieving their goals.

I have over 20 years of experience in the care sector and am committed to providing the best possible support for clients in need of full or part-time assistance. My strong focus and conscientious nature drive me to implement high standards of care, no matter how challenging the circumstances. I am skilled at tailoring and creating health plans based on the individual needs of my clients, and am comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. My adaptability allows me to handle a wide range of situations that may arise, and I am dedicated to providing personalized, person-centered care to those I serve. Venessa Mwinamo
Support Worker
As a dedicated and methodical support worker, I have a dynamic and active approach to getting things done. With a strong work ethic developed from my first job at age 16, I have gained a wealth of experience in the health and social care industry, particularly in supported living accommodations. I am passionate about helping and supporting others to become more independent and self-reliant. In my free time, I enjoy going to the gym and trying new foods, and I take pride in maintaining a healthy lifestyle. This passion extends to my work, as I enjoy cooking healthy meals for our clients.

I am a community health extension worker with a passion for providing excellent care to patients and their families. I am fortunate to have found a place at Oasis Manor, where I am able to use my skills and training to make a positive impact on the lives of the residents. I find great fulfillment in being able to work closely with the residents and their families, helping them to maintain their health and well-being. I enjoy the collaborative and supportive atmosphere at Oasis Manor, and I am grateful for the opportunity to be a part of such a dedicated team of healthcare professionals. As a support worker at Oasis Manor, I have been working in the care field for several years. My experience includes providing support to the elderly in nursing homes, as well as to individuals with autism and learning disabilities, and to those recovering from brain injury. I am dedicated to ensuring that my clients receive the highest quality care possible, and am skilled at creating personalized support plans that meet their unique needs. When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my loved ones, reading, and learning new things.
